Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nWhat You Will Do:\nPrepare surfaces to be painted by cleaning, masking, and sanding.\nApply paint to surface of the part using spray gun.\nAble to adjust paint gun to maximize transfer efficiency and teach others.\nAble to clean and maintain spray equipment.\nEnsures manometers, filters, ovens and all equipment meet specification requirements.\nUnderstands spray patterns, angles and distance to part.\nUnderstands racking and hanging techniques.\nLearn to accurately read and follow procedures, routing and other work instructions.\nAccurately completes required documentation.\nResponsible for quality product standards with no defects.\nMeet customer deadlines.\nStore, handle, use and dispose of hazardous chemicals in accordance with federal, state laws.\nMaintain a clean work environment.\nResponsible to comply with applicable elements of quality systems.\nParticipate in cost reduction plans and continuous improvement plans/events, as required.\nAcquire applicable skill/knowledge/certifications as required.\nMaintain materials, equipment, and work area in a clean and orderly condition.\nCheck work methods and results for conformance to standards and re-instruct as required.\nReport to lead or supervisor on work progress and updates including conditions surrounding failures to meet quality standards.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualifications You Must Have:\nTypically, a High school diploma or GED. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
