Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nRTX BBN Technologies, a high-tech research & development company, seeks a creative self-starter that is organized, hands-on, and people-centered to fill the role of Physical Systems Engineer in our Physical Sciences & Systems (PS2) business unit.\nThis position is for a multi-functional professional in at least two of the following engineering fields; systems, mechanical, electrical, software, chemical, and industrial. The individual will support requirements development and analysis, design, physical fabrication and assembly, process development, technical evaluation of systems ranging in maturity from conceptual to high TRL products, and the generation of technical documentation. The ideal candidate will possess a proven background in integrated systems design, technical data package development, and a robust methodology for performing organized and traceable iterative design and evaluation cycles.\nA successful individual possesses the ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively within a small development team to identify, prioritize, and execute tasks that align with project objectives. Project topics include, but are not limited to, shipboard systems, unmanned platforms and payloads, and complex sensing and data collection systems. The candidate shall have the aptitude to manage and track multiple parallel technical activities.
