The team leverages digital, analog, and power design skills to provide support throughout the product lifecycle from architecture and design through production and sustainment.\nThe MPD department is seeking a Power & Analog Design Engineer II to join our team. This position is an onsite role.\nWe are looking for candidates who are eager to collaborate, innovate, and work alongside our talented engineering teams. In this role, you will leverage advanced technologies to create cutting-edge solutions for sensor and effector products. You will partner with experienced, multidisciplinary teams to define requirements, develop architectures, execute detailed design and simulations, and perform integration and verification tasks. You will document your designs within the appropriate configuration management tools and provide comprehensive engineering support throughout the product lifecycle.\nThis position is an onsite role, located in McKinney, TX\nWhat you will do\nAs a Power & Analog Design Engineer II, your responsibilities will include the following:\nAssist with architecture development at the circuit card level.\nDesign, analyze, test, and document analog and power conversion circuitry.\nPartner with senior engineers and ECAD drafters through stack up definition, layout, and routing activities.\nSupport integration and verification activities in engineering laboratories.\nProvide product test and troubleshooting support.\nUnderstand and report execution status to the planned budget and schedule.\nEngage in professional growth and development.\nQualifications You Must Have\nEngineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience\nDesign, analysis, simulation, and/or test experience with one or more of the following non-isolated converter topologies: buck, boost, buck-boost.\nDesign, analysis, simulation, and/or test experience with analog electronics design, including at least one of the following: FETs/BJTs, op-amp, high/low/band pass filters, clock/data termination, and comparator circuits.\nExperience using tools such as MATLAB, MathCAD, Mathematica, or other similar tools.\nQualifications We Value\nOne or more advanced degrees in Electrical Engineering or a related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major.
