Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nRaytheon is seeking a Principal Inventory Specialist who will be part of the centralized inventory compliance team. This team is responsible for the management of inventory throughout most of the Raytheon U.S. sites. This Inventory Specialist will be responsible for multiple inventory management processes including inventory accountability, induction, system health, in-place shipments, and review of material management processes. In addition, this role is responsible for resolving inventory system-related issues and research efforts to resolve discrepancies. This is a highly collaborative role that will partner with production control, warehouse operations, receiving, shipping, planning and other operational organizations. \nThis position will be onsite at one of our Tucson, AZ locations.\nWhat You Will Do\nResolve warehouse inventory variances.\nIdentify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement as it relates to inventory accuracy.\nSupport processing Receipt Corrections working with Procurement, Quality, and Logistics Warehouse team.\nProcess inventory records that affect physical counts and inventory balances within the ERP software.\nDevelop and implement continuous improvement of standard logistics processes within warehouse operations and related functions. \nPerform a variety of tasks and transactions related to the incoming and outgoing of materials, products and/or equipment within the inventory system. \nBuild relationships and communication platforms with customers, internal and external, to ensure objectives and commitments are being met. \nProcess inventory records that affect physical counts and inventory balances.\nPerform root cause analysis and develop corrective actions. \nProvide guidance relative to process discipline and compliance. \nEnsure execution and continuous improvement of standard processes and participate in process improvement teams. \nOversee Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS) audits. \nRegularly generate and report on system health metrics. \nTroubleshoot system transaction errors and take appropriate corrective action. \nQualifications You Must Have\nTypically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and 3 years experience.\nExperience with Inventory Control, Warehouse Operations, Logistics, Manufacturing, or related field.\nExperience with the end-to-end supply chain value stream. \nExperience with analyzing inventory data. \nQualifications We Prefer\nExperience using ERP systems.\nExperience with oversight of sub-contractor inventory management.\nExperience with property management systems and government regulations.\nSix Sigma/CORE certification (or equivalent).\nActive and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain Top Secret or higher clearance level or program access after start date.\nWhat We Offer\nOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
