This onsite role, based in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, will involve collaboration with engineering and other functional teams to deliver innovative solutions for defense and aerospace applications.\nWhat You Will Do\nLead and contribute to the design, modeling, analysis, and documentation of mechanical systems for CAS hardware.\nSupport the development and technical execution of the Common CAS product line.\nProvide technical oversight and resolve engineering challenges throughout the product lifecycle.\nEnsure adherence to engineering processes, standards, and best practices.\nCollaborate with teams across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Program Management.\nParticipate in resource planning, design reviews, manufacturing readiness, and integration activities.\nCommunicate risks, progress, and technical status to leadership and program stakeholders.\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives and product affordability efforts.\nQualifications You Must Hav e\nTypically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience\nExperience supporting or leading technical activities on Department of Defense (DoD) or aerospace programs.\nExperience with mechanical design tools and engineering processes.\nQualifications We Prefe r\nMaster’s degree in a relevant technical discipline.\nExperience with CAS hardware, actuation systems, or advanced mechanical assemblies.\nExperience building collaborative networks and leading teams through technical challenges.\nExperience with proposals, risk management, and Control Account Management (CAM) responsibilities.\nPresentation, communication, and technical writing skills.\nProgram Management experience or certification.\nActive DoD Secret Clearance.\nWhat We Offer\nOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
