Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.\nThe RF, ASIC & MMIC Design Department is seeking a talented Principal RF Engineer to join our renowned RF design team in McKinney, TX.\nJob Summary:\nAs the Principal Engineering Project Lead, you will drive cross-functional programs, leveraging both technical expertise and project management skills to deliver mission-critical solutions. You will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful execution across the entire product lifecycle-spanning design, fabrication, testing, integration, and transition to production-of complex RF subassemblies or RF Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) that support radar and electronic warfare (EW) systems. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with experience in full product lifecycle management, who is passionate about technical innovation, team coordination, and solving complex challenges.\nThis is an onsite role based in McKinney, TX.\nWhat You Will Do:\nProvide technical expertise and guidance to ensure all RF efforts meet program goals and requirements.\nInterface with customers, chief engineers, and technical leads to understand needs and set priorities.\nCollaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful execution throughout the design, fabrication, rework, testing, integration, and transition to production phases.\nDrive decision-making, track progress, manage risks, resolve issues, and communicate status to stakeholders.\nWork in a lab or production environment to accomplish CCA/Sub-system/Test set development, verification, troubleshooting, and integration.\nOccasional travel may be required.\nQualifications You Must Have:\nTypically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)\nA minimum of 8 years of relevant experience to include any combination of the following:Experience leading cross-functional teams in complex hardware and system-level development (e.g., RF, radar, electronic warfare, RF/Digital CCAs, or similar).\nTechnical expertise with hands-on experience across the full product lifecycle.\nExperience with program management tools such as Microsoft Project and Earned Value Management (EVM).\nExperience with RF technologies, including receivers, Analog-to-Digital Converters, transmitters, and frequency synthesizers.\n\nExperience with any combination of the following tools: Signal generator, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, Xpedition Schematic/Layout Tool or equivalent, SystemVue/Genesys or equivalent, Advanced Design System (ADS) or equivalent, High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS) or equivalent.\nThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance post-start is required.
