Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nWe are currently seeking a Principal Software Security Engineer to join our Software Product Assurance team in McKinney, TX.\nWhat You Will Do:\nOur mission is to provide world class Security Software to be used in developing and supporting deployed sensor systems on various platforms.\nImplement Software Security principles to embedded software design, development, integration, and testing of real-time sensor software.\nDevelop software applications using C and C++ languages on a variety of computing platforms\nEnsure the SW Product Assurance processes are followed on our programs\nUnderstand real-time software design and the performance implications associated with specific System Security implementations.\nWork closely with cross functional Engineering teams to define and implement Test Driven Multidisciplinary Capability (TDMC) based execution development and deployment requirements.\nWork in a common development environment to support and facilitate program ability to leverage specific capabilities.\nInterface with customer community to review technical design and support verification of system maturity.\nQualifications You Must Have:\nTypically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of relevant software experience\nExpertise with C / C++\nExperience with Static analysis concepts, methods & tools\nExperience with Xilinx UltaScale+ MPSoC, Versal, or similar Embedded Processors\nExperience with embedded OS like VxWorks, Embedded Linux, or similar\nExperience using scripting languages like Python, Perl, or similar\nEmbedded Software Security experience\nActive and transferable U.S. Government issued Secret clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.\nQualifications We Prefer:\nExperience with Secure boot, containerization and software hardening\nExperience with Cryptographic Algorithms\nExperience in a technical leadership role to grow and lead a small technical team\nExperience/knowledge of any of the following:\nDesigning, implementing, testing, or fielding real-time security-oriented solutions on Department of War (DoW) programs (embedded experience highly preferred)\nKernel or Device Driver development\nPetalinux/Yocto operating systems\nAgile/Scrum/Kanban frameworks and DevSecOps environments\nKnowledge of modern computer architecture and hardware technologies including:\nARM Architecture\nInterface protocols: PCIe, GPIO, I2C, SATA\nField Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs)\nApplication-Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs)\nUsing software configuration management and bug tracking tools\nExperience with validation and verification of software applications\nPlease consider the following role type definition as you apply for this role.\nOnsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite.
