Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Contracts & Subcontracts, you will influence mission-critical outcomes while collaborating with cross-functional teams at the forefront of national security.\nOur teams here provide DevSecOps at scale, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, cyber and geospatial intelligence capabilities to support the defence, intelligence and cyber sectors. Collaborating with customers and suppliers to deliver secure, mission critical systems using the latest technologies and innovations.\nResponsibilities:\nManage Subcontractors / Suppliers with moderately sized contracts with autonomy and accountability for delivery, ensuring quality and consistency in execution and alignment with business objectives.\nResponsible for early subcontractor identification and engagement to support new business pursuits and provide risk and opportunity analysis for early capture\nParticipating in development of supplier Statements of Work (SOW)\nManagement and negotiation of contracts, non-disclosure agreements and terms and conditions.\nCommunicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders, including suppliers and customers, to align on policies, practices, and procedures.\nManage all costs, quality, schedule, financial and technical performance requirements that are levied on the subcontractor or the product family and is required to ensure performance and support of the contract milestones of the system \nWorks with suppliers and other stakeholders to achieve collaborative partnering and strategic relationship management to deliver value for the organisation\nApply advanced knowledge of subcontracting practices to evaluate challenges faced by the programme(s)/organisation and the supply chains, taking action to mitigate risks and develop opportunities, as well as solving complex problems across multiple work areas.\nRequired Skills & Experience:\nProven experience negotiating commercial and subcontract agreements in Defence or Cyber sectors.\nDegree in business or equivalent professional experience.\nStrong communicator with a proactive, adaptable mindset.\nFinancial acumen with the ability to translate programme data into actionable insights.\nTrack record of driving performance and solving complex problems.\nSkilled in managing supplier and subcontractor relationships.\nDesirable Skills & Experience:\nFocused on outcomes, delivery, and operational excellence.\nExposure to international suppliers and collaborative delivery models.\nKnowledge of Teaming Agreements and strategic partnerships.\nBenefits and Work Culture\n37hr working week with early finish Fridays - start your weekend early!\n\n25 days holiday + statutory public holidays, plus opportunity to buy and sell up to 5 days and up to 5 paid days volunteering\n\n10.5% company pension contribution with 6% employee contribution\n\nAnnual company bonus scheme (discretionary)\n\n6 times salary Life Assurance with pension\n\nFlexible Benefits scheme with extensive salary sacrifice schemes, including Health Cashplan, Dental, and Cycle to Work, amongst others\n\nEnhanced sick pay\n\nEnhanced family friendly policies including enhanced maternity, paternity & shared parental leave\n\nSnacks and cold / hot drinks provided at Gloucester site\n\nRaytheon UK\nWe take immense pride in being a leader in defence and aerospace technology.
