Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.\nWe have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Systems Engineer - Technical Subcontracts Manager supporting one of our premier programs in the Space Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (SISR) business unit, where your knowledge and experience working with subcontractors and vendors to manage and report costs, schedules, and technical performance baselines will be put to good use. In this role, you will support technical integration, program execution, technical interchange meetings, and proposal efforts while ensuring subcontractor and vendor deliverables meet program requirements. The work location is Dulles, VA or Richardson, TX.\nWhat You Will Do\nManage subcontractors and vendors, ensuring timely delivery and quality of products\nManage and report subcontractor and vendor costs, schedules, and technical performance baselines\nEnsure subcontractor and vendor work comes together technically for each delivery\nSupport technical interchange meetings with team members and other program personnel\nProvide status on assigned Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) tasks as required\nConduct document reviews and resolve technical systems engineering and integration issues\nDevelop subcontractor and vendor Statements of Work (SOWs) and support Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) efforts as required\nSupport various proposal efforts\nQualifications You Must Have\nTypically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience\nExperience managing or working with subcontractors and vendors, including experience in a technical leadership role\nExperience with the systems engineering development lifecycle and change management processes\nExperience working with a program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) or similar, as well as experience developing Statements of Work (SOWs) and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs)\nActive and transferable DoD TS/SCI U.S. government-issued security clearance is required prior to start date, with the ability to obtain Special Program Access. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
