You will gain experience in:\nEnd-to-end procurement processes, from sourcing and supplier engagement through to order placement and contract administration.\nSpend analysis, supplier performance reporting, and the use of procurement data to support decision-making.\nRequests for Quotation (RFQs), Requests for Proposal (RFPs), supplier evaluations, and sourcing strategies.\nCross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Programmes, Quality, Finance, and Supply Chain teams.\nProcurement systems, processes, and governance requirements within a regulated business environment.\nExperience in multiple commodity categories, providing exposure to a diverse supplier base and product portfolio.\nMarket dynamics, lead-time management, obsolescence, and supplier risk.\nCommercial and contractual principles, including terms and conditions, pricing analysis, and risk identification.\nNegotiation techniques and supplier relationship management.\nEssential Requirements:\nProfessional procurement qualification, or working towards one (e.g., CIPS Level 4 or above).\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.\nFlexible and positive attitude\nAble to perform effectively in a multi-functional team\nExcellent verbal and written communications\nExperience of problem solving and dispute resolution\nDesirable Requirements:\nExperience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Commodity and/or related field\nExperience of Relationship Management and collaborative working\nAdministration of delivery/acceptance/invoicing of goods and services\nKnowledge of import/export legislation and logistical requirements\nExperience or knowledge of MRP, SAP and purchase order placement/ material receipt processes\nRTX adheres to the principles of equal employment.
