Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\n2nd Shift Hours are Monday - Thursday beginning at 3PM\n(4/10)\nWhat You Will Do:\nT he Production Supervisor, 2nd Shift is responsible for providing leadership to one or more Business Unit Cells.\nThe Production Supervisor, 2nd Shift will apply CORE (Customer Oriented Results and Excellence), LEAN and other continuous improvement techniques to develop and implement process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing quality, throughput and delivery integrity.\nProvide leadership and guidance to multi-skilled group of team members engaged in the manufacture and repair of jet engine components.\nEnsure employees are adequately trained and work in a safe and environmentally sound manner.\nExecute business decisions fairly, conduct annual performance reviews, hold regular toolbox meetings, provide two-way communications, consistent application of policy/work rules, and clear, consistent communication of organizational goals and objectives.\nSupport all legal obligations such as United States Government contracting and Administration of FAA policies and procedures.\nSets day-to-day goals and objectives for team members.\nResponsible for making modifications in systems and processes to solve problems or improve the effectiveness of the work area.\nHave flexibility relative to off shift work/shift overlap\nQualifications You Must Have:\nBachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, business operations, quality or related field, OR an Associate's degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, business operations, quality or related field\nIn absence of a degree, a High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 6 years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, business operations, quality or related field\nProficiency in Microsoft Office products\nWorking knowledge of shop practices, processes and procedures\nQualifications We Prefer:\nDemonstrated skill and success in team leadership, facilitation & coaching skills\nWorking knowledge of new product / process technologies\nPlease ensure the role type defined below is appropriate for your needs before applying to this role. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
