Our center of excellence is responsible for electrical rewind repairs for all major commercial aircraft platforms and supports customers to include major airlines, maintenance and repair organizations, as well as distributors covering North and South America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.\nWe are hiring for our Production Maintenance team. This team will work evenings as soon as their training is complete (10 week of days training - Mon-Fri)\nOnce training is complete, working hours will be\nShift Operating Hours:\nMonday to Thursday : 3.30pm - 12.00am\nFriday 1.30pm - 8.30pm\nYour Role\nDisassemble all assigned parts, strip, clean and prepare for winding or repair under supervision.\n\nClean and dip all items according to procedures\n\nClean and paint all items according to procedures.\n\nMake and prepare coils.\n\nPrepare kits for winding.\n\nWind, connect and test all components where winding procedures are established.\n\nAssist in the development of specifications, tooling and winding procedures where procedures are not established.\n\nTrain and direct the activities of lower grades.\n\nRead and follow procedures, routing and other work instructions\n\nDemonstrate proper use of simple hand and machine tools\n\nDemonstrate proper use of electrical/mechanical measuring devices\n\nTest and calibrate parts\n\nOther duties that may be assigned by the Operations Supervisor.\n\nCustomer Focus\nResponsible for quality\n\nResponsible for building/repairing parts that meet customer expectations\n\nMeet customer deadlines\n\nBe flexible and provide support across all the site’s operations\n\nOther\nAbility to acquire necessary repair skills/knowledge/certifications as required\n\nFull adherence to UTAS EH&S Cardinal Rules\n\nWork successfully in a team environment & handle multiple tasks\n\nEffectively interact & communicate within team and other functional groups\n\nAssist in problem solving\n\nFull engagement with CORE and the utilization of CORE tools\n\nAssist in maintenance and continuous improvement standards.\n\nFull compliance with all engineering specifications and quality procedures\n\nEnsure all aspects of product and process quality are maintained\n\nInspection as and when required.\n\nTrain and direct other grades.\n\nResponsible for the safe operation of machines, hand tools and equipment in the department.\n\nMaintain a clean and safe work area.\n\nProduction Maintenance Benefits\nDC Pension Scheme : 3-5%\n\nHealth Insurance - 50% cover for employee and dependents\n\n25.5 days annual leave\n\nBonus scheme\n\nEmployee assistance program\n\nRTX adheres to the principles of equal employment.
