Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.\nThe Production Test Engineering Section Manager will be directly responsible for managing a functional team of engineers who support production testing in the Andover factory.\nWhat You Will Do\nPrioritizing tasks to meet the customer’s needs,\nCoordinating resources\nManaging team staffing levels and interfacing with strategic make center personnel and leaders\nTraining, coaching, mentoring, employee performance development\nResponsible for technical quality of engineering tasks, product compliance and providing critical oversight to team of engineers including staffing and approval of timecards\nDevelop sustaining solutions to technical problems, troubleshoot manufacturing systems and lead root cause and corrective action\nParticipate or lead functional or factory improvement projects\nRequires direct support of manufacturing test activities and spending a large amount of time directly on the factory floor in support of a highly demanding dynamic environment.\nQualifications You Must Hav e\nTypically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and a minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience. \n1 year of experience in leading people/teams.\nThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
