Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nRaytheon is seeking a Program Operations Project Manager responsible for the execution of development contracts supporting multiple programs in the Airborne Spectrum Dominance (ASD) business area. This role works closely with Program Management, multiple factories, and Supply Chain to coordinate the build and delivery of program hardware in a fast-paced environment. The position includes responsibilities related to capital, IRAD, and key manufacturing technologies, with a focus on strategies to transition follow-on work to various Raytheon business units. Additional responsibilities include developing and communicating strategies and tactics to reduce cost, improve quality, enhance performance and reliability, and improve overall product competitiveness.\nThis role serves as the liaison between manufacturing and the program office and requires regular communication with factory and program leadership to address control account management, operations status, issues, risks, and opportunities.\nWhat You Will Do\nManage early program planning activities by defining key deliverables, establishing execution plans, and aligning stakeholders on scope and requirements.\nOversee Bill of Material (BOM) and requirements management, ensuring accuracy, configuration control, and schedule alignment.\nExecute Control Account Management, including monitoring, analyzing, and reporting cost, schedule, and quality performance.\nCoordinate with program and factory engineering to develop the BOM structure and build plan that aligns with manufacturing capabilities and program timelines.\nEnsure engineering drawings and documentation are released on schedule to support procurement and production activities.\nMaintain BOM accuracy and Line of Balance to ensure material availability and alignment with program schedules.\nInterface with factory teams to assess and plan for build, test, equipment, tooling, and facility requirements.\nLead and facilitate factory readiness reviews to confirm production processes, documentation, and resources are prepared for execution.\nDevelop and manage risk and opportunity plans, including identifying impacts and implementing mitigation or enhancement actions.\nPrepare Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and support quick-turn proposals by providing operational, cost, schedule, and risk inputs.\nThis position will be on-site at our Plano, TX location.\nQualifications You Must Have\nTypically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.\nExperience with Office 365, specifically Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.\nExperience with ERP and Supply Chain Systems.\nExperience supporting development, production, and life-cycle sustainment activities.\nEVMS training or certification.\nQualifications We Prefer\nExperience with RF components, subassemblies, or related architectures.\nExperience improving manufacturing process flows or transitioning products from development to production.\nExperience with continuous improvement methods (Six Sigma, Lean).\nExperience with Control Account Management (CAM) or IPDS Gate Review processes.\nActive and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain Top Secret or higher clearance level or program access after start date.\nWhat We Offer\nOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
