As a PSQE you will play a critical role in ensuring supplier compliance, driving process improvements, and mitigating risks across the supply chain. You will engage with suppliers to uphold quality standards and ensure alignment with program requirements.\nThis is an onsite position with up to 50% domestic travel.\nWhat You Will Do\nEnsure the flow down of product and process requirements to suppliers through purchase orders, quality notes, and statements of work.\nInterpret quality requirements and ensuring suppliers understand and comply with these standards.\nPerform on-site activities such as source surveillance, inspections, corrective action reviews, and factory risk assessments.\nDrive continuous product and process improvements using tools such as Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA), Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Lean methodologies.\nParticipate in design reviews, process change reviews, qualification test reviews, and test equipment validation.\nApply Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) processes to enhance supplier performance and improve manufacturing processes.\nReview supplier manufacturing instructions and processes to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.\nRepresent the organization in program reviews, supplier reviews, and technical interchange meetings.\nCommunicate supplier quality performance and status updates to leadership and customers.\nTravel up to 50% domestically to support supplier assessments, audits, and reviews.\nQualifications You Must Have\nTypically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experienceRelevant experience is in an engineering discipline, quality engineering, manufacturing, or supplier quality\n\nExperience with one or more aerospace or commercial equivalent preventative tools such as SPC, FMEA, QFD, or PPAP.\nExperience conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.\nExperience with quality management standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, AS9145, and/or MDA Assurance Provisions.\nExperience interpreting schematic drawings and/or hardware inspection techniques.\nThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required.
