Together, we are not just advancing technology; we're building a community committed to safeguarding a safer and more connected world.\nWe are looking for a Project Controller to provide professional project scheduling and controls support as part of the Raytheon UK Enterprise Performance Group (EPG) for Raytheon UK, deployed to the Training Transformation Mission Area Team.\nThis includes the generation, analysis and reporting of key schedule and earned value management metrics to support the programme in reporting and facilitate key decision making. Earned Value expertise will be central to the management of the contract.\nWe are looking for our team to advocate for and deliver robust project controls, metrics and business intelligence reporting by utilising our various tools to give clear, objective visibility of programme health and we want to build a team passionate about ensuring on time delivery, providing solutions to schedule optimisation challenges and who has a commitment to playing their role in programme delivery and supporting business intelligence and KPI reporting.\nMain Duties:\nResponsible for the development and integrity of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and ensuring that all activities, events and milestones are logically linked, fully resourced, fully cost loaded and aligned to the fiscal calendar.\nLeading and supporting schedule development work as the programme progresses.\nSupport the Programme Manager and Control Account Managers with analysis of trend data and provision of programme metrics, presenting these on behalf of your programme at metrics review boards and customer meetings as required.\nEnsure contractual and programme baseline control management is adopted and that baseline change control has a clear auditable trail for change.\nSupport the Programme Leadership Team with the generation and analysis of EVM data, and Earned Value variance root cause analysis.\nPerform analysis such as critical path, schedule risk analysis, BEI analysis as required.\nMonthly collation and analysis of finance data such as schedule derived Estimates To Complete (ETCs).\nSupport the development of Programme Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Organisational Breakdown Structures (OBS) to ensure effective cost and schedule reporting.\nSupport Bid and Proposal activities through the development of schedule scenarios for impact analysis.\nSupport the Programme Risk & Opportunity Management Process and internal Risk Review Board with risk identification, documentation, and risk analysis for schedule and cost impact, including the tracking of mitigation and capture plans within the IMS as required.\nMaintain a focused balance between the use of company standard tools and the innovative development of reporting through customised reports in Power BI.\nCandidate Requirements:\nExperience operating in joint or matrixed teams.\nAbility to communicate across military and industry partners.\nFocused on outcomes, delivery, and operational excellence.\nA seasoned professional in a Project / Programme Controls environment.\nAble to provide clarity, insight and solutions to difficult and sometimes complex issues.\nAbility to coach lower tier professionals.\nExperience of and competent in the use of Microsoft Project EPM 2010/13/16, and other Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Power BI and an ability to learn quickly our internal EVM and schedule metrics tools.\nAbility to achieve your day to day work and objectives with impact and with good written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the business.\nAbility to work with diverse project teams and stakeholders and communicate cross functionally to achieve the best outcomes for programme delivery.\nAbility to support, guide and influence project teams to ensure programmes are set up in accordance with Raytheon standard practices and processes.\nAbility to lead supplier and partner schedule integration work.\nCommercial and Business awareness in a complex projects environment.\nExperienced working with multi-disciplined teams over geographically dispersed sites.\nCurrent holder of, or eligibility to obtain, SC MoD security clearance.\nPractical or theoretical knowledge of IMS and EVM integration.\nDesirable\nExperience of working within the Defence Industry.\nWorking knowledge of training transformation programmes.\nPractical experience of Power BI with the ability to evaluate reports, trouble shoot report queries and understand user requirements for new reports.\nThis position is classified as:\nHybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite.
