Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nPrincipal Specialist, Project Management\nThe Project Manager will be responsible for the design, creation, and maintenance of a project plan to support a multi year capacity expansion and factory transformation project. The overall program scope spans multiple disciplines to support the project from initial design through operational implementation. The Project Manager will collaborate with site leadership, external contractors, program management, technical, and business team members to plan, create, monitor and analyze program schedule performance and related metrics.\nResponsibilities include:\nIncorporate the project schedule design and development methods into Primavera P6 or similar platform.\nCollaborate with project team members, operations management, technical and integrated product teams to define requirements and plan schedules and analyze schedule related metrics.\nPerform Critical Path analysis and reconciliation to program events and key milestones.\nResponsible for project baseline management and control.\nCoordinate with major suppliers, partners, and vendors to collect, integrate, and deliver current schedule information.\nWork closely with finance to track and manage project budget\nPerform in-depth schedule reviews to identify improvements.\nConduct what-if planning and integration of risk management and mitigation.\nAssist and provide scheduling support and training to project team members.\nWork together with stakeholders to develop easily understood data driven visuals identifying progress to overall project scope and highlight risk areas.\nLead and/or participate in special projects, as required.\nCollaborate with other planning, scheduling, and control disciplines and groups across the company to apply and/or share best practices and lessons learned.\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelors’ Degree and minimum 3 years’ experience with a Project Management Scheduling Program such as Primavera, OR Advanced Degree and minimum 2 years’ experience with a Project Management Scheduling Program.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with project management principles and their application to complex projects\nUnderstanding of systems/project engineering, manufacturing engineering concepts and practices.\nTakes initiative to seek understanding and improve processes\nExcellent organization, self-motivation, verbal/written communication and effective interpersonal skills\nBasic understanding of risk management\nAnalytical skills\nAdaptability\nAerospace experience a plus\nProject Management Professional (PMP®) certification through the Project Management Institute (PMI®) or similar certificate a plus\nPlease ensure the role type defined below is appropriate for your needs before applying to this role. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
