In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules to ensure the successful delivery of programs that are on scope, on time, and within budget. Collaborating closely with project management, engineers and cross-functional teams, you will play a pivotal role in tracking progress, mitigating risks, and delivering data-driven insights to meet organizational and customer requirements. This position will be located at our offices in either Calgary, Alberta or Ottawa, Ontario.\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop, maintain, and update an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to align with program objectives, milestones, and deliverables.\nCollaborate with project management, engineers, and cross-functional teams to define project tasks, timelines, dependencies, and resource requirements.\nMonitor schedule performance and progress, identifying risks, delays, and opportunities for schedule optimization.\nSupport risk management activities by proactively identifying potential issues, forecasting delays, and recommending corrective actions or schedule adjustments.\nConduct risk assessments, including the preparation and execution of Monte Carlo simulations to evaluate schedule reliability.\nProvide regular updates to projet management and stakeholders on schedule status, changes, and any potential issues.\nCoordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate updates to schedules and related documentation.\nPrepare and distribute progress reports, dashboards, and other relevant metrics to leadership and stakeholders.\nAssist with various ad hoc project management tasks to ensure program success.\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Commerce, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent training and experience).\n3 years of experience in program or project scheduling, preferably within an aerospace, defense, or engineering environment.\nProficiency in scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar software.\nStrong understanding of scheduling principles, including Critical Path Method (CPM), Earned Value Management (EVM), and dependency management.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data visualization tools, and other relevant software.\nProven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate across diverse teams and organizational levels.\nCertification in scheduling or project management such as PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP), or Project Management Professional (PMP) is desirable.\nFamiliarity with ForProject and Barbecana Full Monte is a plus.\nKnowledge of government contracting and defense industry standards is an asset.\nBilingual in French and English is an asset.\nThe successful candidate will be required to complete a criminal background check and obtain/maintain a Government of Canada security clearance and any applicable clearances with respect to the handling and transfer of controlled goods.\nThis position is eligible for consideration of a hybrid work arrangement with set onsite days.\nRaytheon Canada adheres to the principles of equal employment and welcome applications from all qualified persons.
