This individual will be involved in the delivery of developing, enhancing, and implementing software solutions within Pratt & Whitney’s DW2W2C Portfolio, as well as integrations with other enterprise products. This role will support the development of back-end and web-based solutions, troubleshooting of problems related to DW2W2C applications, resolving systems integration and compatibility issues, and supporting the application life cycle Center of Excellence.\nWhat You Will Do *\nThe candidate will be responsible for understanding business requirements, translating them into effective test scenarios, ensuring end-to-end application quality, and collaborating closely with business and technical teams.\nAnalyze business and functional requirements and convert them into clear, testable scenarios and acceptance criteria.\nDesign and execute functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing.\nIdentify requirement gaps, dependencies, risks, and edge cases early in the SDLC.Create test cases, test plans, test reports, and maintain adequate test coverage.Log, track, validate, and support resolution of defects, including root-cause analysis.\nPerform API testing, SQL/database validation, and data-flow verification across integrated systems.\nAnalyze application logs and technical workflows to troubleshoot issues. \nCollaborate with Business, Application Development, QA, and DevOps teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies including refinement, sprint planning, requirement walkthroughs, and release validation.\nWork closely with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and QA teams to understand business objectives and requirements.\nAnalyze and document business requirements, functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.\nConvert complex business requirements into clear and testable scenarios.\nIdentify dependencies, business risks, process gaps, and edge cases.\nContribute to QA process improvements, automation, and overall application quality. \nQualifications You Must Have *\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field with 7+ years or Masters degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field with 5+ years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance and testing, with strong expertise in functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing, along with solid technical business analysis and SQL/database validation skills\nQualifications We Prefer\nExperience with Tricentis Tosca or other test automation tools like Cypress, Playwright, Selenium etc.\nStrong experience in functional and end-to-end testing.\nStrong business analysis and requirement analysis skills.\nExcellent understanding of SDLC and STLC.\nStrong experience in creating test scenarios, test cases, test plans, and test execution reports.\nGood experience with defect management and root-cause analysis.\nStrong SQL/database testing skills.\nGood understanding of REST APIs and API testing.\nAbility to understand application architecture and technical workflows.\nExperience with API automation and test automation frameworks.\nKnowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices.\nExperience with tools such as JIRA and Azure DevOps.\nLearn More & Apply Now\nWhat We Offer:\nDaycare for young children\nAdvancement programs to enhance education skills\nFlexible work schedules\nLeadership and training programs\nComprehensive benefits, savings, and pension plans\nFinancial support for parental leave\nReward programs for outstanding work\nRole type:\nPlease ensure the role type (defined below) is appropriate for your needs before applying to this role.\nHybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite.
