Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nWhat You Will Do:\nEnsures that the quality of RTX suppliers, products and processes are compliant with internal and regulatory standards and are continuously improving.\nProvide direction to ensure quality tasking is accomplished within budget, on time and as defined in planning.\nManages the quality function (establishes, oversees, and coordinates quality policy and practice) of CSMC.\nPerform independent reviews and assessments of CSMC performance, including independent technical assessments of systems engineering, Quality Assurance (QA), lessons learned, industry best practices, technology, production and programmatic (cost, schedule, quality and risks).\nIdentifies and addresses areas where the adequacy of CSMC plans, requirements, analyses, risk mitigation plans, certification/verification/validation/qualification approaches and process/product noncompliance have the potential to impact overall mission success.\nResponsible for continuously reviewing quality strategy, practice, and procedure to ensure the customer requirements are met. Establishes customer relations and communications processes.\nEstablishes and implements long-term quality strategy including plans, guidelines, policies, and processes to ensure the achievement of quality targets.\nLeads development of organization projects and processes to ensure overall quality is continuously improving.\nOversees quality improvement processes to ensure on-going reductions in Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and escapes.\nLeads teams collecting and analyzing quality information from multiple sources to develop long-term quality strategy and programs.\nLeads teams providing production process analyses, ensuring quality standards are met and making recommendations for quality improvement.\nQualification You Must Have:\nAdvanced degree and 12+ years of experience in Quality, Engineering or Operations experience in Aviation, Aerospace, Space, Defense, Automotive or similarly regulated industry; OR Bachelor's degree and 14+ years of relevant experience; OR Associate’s degree / Technical School Diploma and 16+ years of relevant industry experience. OR High School diploma or Military / Technical Training (ex: A&P Certificate) and 18+ years of relevant industry experience\n6+ years of experience in Quality Management, Quality Engineering, or Operations\n6+ years of leadership experience ideally managing technical teams\nExperience with Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, AS9110)\nQualifications We Prefer:\nUniversity degree ideally in Engineering or Business preferred\nStrategic leadership, P&L and organization management experience.\nOperations leadership and personnel management experience ideally within a collective bargaining unit / union workforce\nKnowledge of Quality Management Systems (i.e., AS9100/AS9110 or ISO 9001) and audit process\nRoot Cause and Corrective Action experience (QCPC, RCCA Red-X, Fault Tree, etc.)\nAbility to lead cross-functional teams and manage quality clinics or other projects effectively.\nExperience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies (CORE/ACE/SixSigma, etc.)\nWorking knowledge of Pratt & Whitney shop practices & processes, quality standards, and inspections methods & tools\nExperience using Microsoft Office Suite programs, SAP ERP, and Solumina MES\nAbility to work and effectively communicate with all levels of management, shop personnel, external customers and regulatory agencies (i.e. DCMA, FAA, etc.).\nWhat is my Role Type?\nIn addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also transforming how and where we work. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
