We’re looking for an experienced Quality Leader for this greenfield business.\nThis position is for a leadership role in the Quality Engineering team and Clinic function to support the Advanced Castings Foundry (ACF).\nWhat You Will Do:\nDrive culture of compliance through strong collaboration with Operations and Manufacturing teams. \nAct as leader for Asheville site to drive critical improvements and issue resolution for quality issues to closure. \nLead Process Improvement opportunities using DMAIC, CORE and Lean Strategies to enhance quality, decrease process cycle time, and reduce operational costs. \nIdentify and establish required QMS improvements to support this new internal product line. \nLead activities to support FAA & AS9100 scope expansion. \nDay to day operational decision making and oversee allocation of resources to meet customer demand. \nProvide technical expertise of non-conforming material and support the communication and processing of quality notifications through the Material Review Board (MRB) process. \nCollaborate with the operations and materials teams to ensure alignment to meet customer demand. \nDefine and implement plans to support the objectives of the business including Quality, CORE, and financial metrics. \nProvide effective communication to ensure alignment as a leader within the Quality and ACF organizations. \nQualifications You Must Have:\nBachelors Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience.\nMinimum of 3 + years in a Quality Engineering role. \nQualifications We Prefer:\nDemonstrated leadership & Management experience. \nKnowledgeable / experienced in AS9100 / ISO 9001 Quality systems.\nWorking knowledge/ proficiency in Quality tools such as FAI, PFMEA, DFMEA, GR&R, GD&T elements, etc. \nExperienced in root cause corrective action and eliminating non-conformances. \nPW Quality system experience. \nPractical DMAIC, CORE, Six Sigma experience or other Lean Systems experience. \nWhat is my Role Type?\nIn addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also transforming how and where we work.
