Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nThe Quality Inspection Technician II will inspect incoming Supplier products and/or Internal Manufactured assemblies in accordance with Drawing, Workmanship, and Quality Management System requirements. Utilize SAP company information system to record results of inspections.\nWhat You Will Do:\nPerform the receiving and production inspections of various products and commodities.\nRead, write, speak, and comprehend the English language effectively.\nConduct product inspection tasks according to Inspection Procedures.\nInspect special process parts and document inspection activities on appropriate records.\nRecord inspection results via SAP transactions.\nMake informed decisions regarding product acceptance based on design documentation and company workmanship criteria.\nDocument non-conformances of products or paperwork as per company procedures.\nSupport internal and customer audits.\nPrioritize product inspections according to the production schedule.\nUnderstand and interpret design data, such as drawings and Bills of Material.\nUse appropriate inspection methods and equipment, including hand tools and surface plates.\nSupport multiple product lines and/or commodities as needed.\nAnswer quality and inspection-related questions.\nMaintain relevant skills, knowledge, and certifications.\nPerform miscellaneous duties as required (e.g., ACE initiatives).\nCreate and update Inspection Procedures.\nComplete training and issue FAA 8130 Tags if required.\nAdhere to QMS policies, understand quality documents, and access them as necessary.\nQualifications You Must Have:\nTypically requires a HS Diploma with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.\nMinimum of one year of inspection experience, or Minimum of two years of production experience, or Secondary degree.\nQualifications We Prefer:\nAbility to inspect all assigned products and commodities.\nIntermediate knowledge of computer systems and software.\nIntermediate experience in preparing and/or reviewing routine First Article Inspections (FAIs).\nInspect and measure required product design, manufacturing, and quality characteristics.\nInterpret and verify products per applicable industry specifications.\nAbility to interface with multiple functions and departments.\nStrong accuracy and attention to detail.\nUnderstanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDT)\nRole Type:\n*Please ensure the role type (defined below) is appropriate for your needs before applying to this role.\nOnsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
