Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nWhat You Will Do\nThe Quality Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest level of product quality by serving as the technical bridge between Quality Inspectors, Production, and Product Quality Engineers (PQEs). This hands-on role is based on the manufacturing floor, providing immediate technical quality support and driving adherence to quality standards. Key responsibilities include:\nProvide daily, hands-on technical quality support directly on the manufacturing floor.\nServe as the primary technical quality resource between Product Inspectors, Production, and Product Quality Engineers.\nReview engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions to determine inspection and quality requirements.\nPerform in-process inspections on aerospace products using standard and advanced inspection equipment.\nInterpret and apply GD&T requirements to inspection activities.\nAssist Product Inspectors with complex inspection questions, measurement methods, and drawing interpretation.\nConduct First Article Inspections (FAIs) in accordance with AS9102 or equivalent requirements and prepare FAI packages for submission.\nIdentify and document nonconforming conditions and collaborate with Production to contain and correct issues.\nOversee MRB Bond Cage activities, including monitoring and tracking quality notifications and ensuring timely disposition and closure.\nParticipate in failure investigations and corrective-action processes for assigned quality issues.\nSupport audits, customer requirements, and regulatory activities as needed.\nUtilize SAP, ETQ, and other quality systems to document and track quality activities.\nMaintain accurate and complete quality records.\nWhat You Will Learn\nBecome a technical resource on the production floor who can help resolve quality issues before they delay product acceptance.\nGain hands-on knowledge of manufacturing operations, product requirements, and critical-to-quality characteristics.\nDevelop the skills to investigate and resolve nonconformances while maintaining compliance with aerospace quality requirements.\nBuild a foundation for career growth into advanced inspection, Quality Engineering, or Quality leadership roles.\nQualifications You Must Have\nTypically requires a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
