Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nJob Summary: In this role, you will operate powered industrial vehicles in accordance with established safety procedures, maintain equipment readiness, and ensure machining revert materials are properly categorized, labeled, documented, and prepared for transport. You will play a key role in maintaining organized work areas, supporting production needs, and ensuring compliance with all environmental, health, and safety requirements.\nThis is a Weekend Night Shift position: Friday - Sunday, 6:30 pm - 6:30 am\nWhat You Will Do:\nOperate powered industrial vehicles (PIVs), including forklifts, in accordance with Pratt & Whitney requirements, established operating procedures, and applicable safety regulations.\nComplete required PIV safety inspections, maintain equipment safety checklists, and perform routine preventive maintenance checks to support safe and reliable operation.\nMaintain PMC fluids in designated distribution containers and ensure materials are handled, stored, and managed appropriately.\nManage the logistical movement of machining revert materials and coordinate their preparation for transportation.\nComplete and maintain log sheets documenting revert weights, material classifications, and other required operational information.\nVerify that all machining reverts are accurately classified and labeled in accordance with established revert specifications.\nMonitor and maintain an adequate supply of revert containers to support ongoing manufacturing and shop operations.\nMaintain clean, orderly, and safe revert collection areas to support efficient material handling and facility operations.\nPerform all duties in compliance with applicable environmental, health, and safety requirements, as well as Pratt & Whitney policies and procedures.\nPerform additional duties as needed to support facility requirements, manufacturing objectives, and team priorities.\nQualifications You Must Have:\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nQualifications We Prefer:\nManufacturing experience, technical training, military training experience, or completion of Certified Manufacturing Specialist Program\nIndustrial PIV operation experience\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and material documentation.\nDemonstrated analytical and troubleshooting skills, sound judgment, professional maturity, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.\nWhat We Offer:\nComprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage.\nShort-term and long-term disability, plus parental leave.\n401(k) plan with company match.\nFlexible Spending Accounts for healthcare and dependent care.\nEmployee Assistance Program for personal and professional support.\nEmployee Scholar Program with no waiting period.\nGenerous paid time off includes 3 weeks of vacation, 5 personal sick days, and 12 paid government holidays.\nWhat is my role type?\nIn addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also transforming how and where we work.
