Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.\nThe Effector RF Design Department is seeking talented engineers with the skills and passion to develop complex Radio Frequency (RF) systems, subsystems and components, including antennas, RF circuit card assemblies, radomes, and RF test-equipment. A successful candidate is one who functions in a multi-disciplined team, properly applies engineering tools and processes, and is a self-motivated problem solver with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. This is an entry-level Mechanical Engineer position for an individual with educational experience and professional interest in the application of technical mechanical standards, principles, concepts, and techniques.\nThis position is located in Tucson, AZ and is an onsite role.\nWhat You Will Do\nCollaborate in a multi-discipline team setting to solve complex engineering problems\n\nCreate 3D CAD models and engineering drawings for RF products designs\n\nDevelop prototype hardware designs and coordinating fabrication\n\nPerform hands on integration and test support for prototype hardware\n\nHold design and drawing reviews with peers and subject matter experts\n\nQualifications You Must Have\nTypically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience to include any combination of the following:\nExperience performing design and analysis for the packaging of RF products (e.g. Circuit Card Assemblies, antennas, radomes, RF test equipment, harnesses and interconnects) throughout the product life cycle to include three dimensional (3D) Computer Aided Design (CAD) software\n\nExperience with creation of Technical Data Packages (TDPs) using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) for products\n\nAbility to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain special program access after start.\n\nQualifications We Prefer\nMaster of Science (MS) in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering\n\nExperience with 3D CAD design (preferably Creo Parametric).\n\nExperience in antenna and/or electronics packaging.\n\nExperience with harness and interconnect design.\n\nExperience creating engineering drawings.\n\nExperience fabricating prototype designs.\n\nFamiliarity with the application of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).\n\nExperience working collaboratively in a multi-discipline team.\n\nExperience performing tolerance analysis.\n\nSelf-motivated problem solver with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.\n\nDemonstrated ability to work effectively with coworkers from varied communities and cultures.\n\nDemonstrated ability to work with colleagues who represent a diversity of work and conflict resolution styles.\n\nWhat We Offer\nOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
