We deliver solutions that help our nation and allies defend freedoms and deter aggression, creating a safer, more secure world.\nJoin us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nWe have an exciting opportunity for a full-time RF Test Systems Engineer II located onsite in McKinney, TX supporting Surveillance & Tactical Radar Solutions (STaRS) Test Automation.\nThe Test Automation Department (TAD) is responsible for the design and development of test equipment, hardware and software for a wide range of products and customers.\nThe STaRS Test Automation section within TAD is a growing and highly motivated team who consistently provides quality on-time on-cost solutions to support external and internal customers seeking innovative and economical solutions for their product lines.\nThe section also supports change incorporation and obsolescence redesign efforts of various legacy systems in direct support of production capabilities.\nWhat You Will Do\nSupport troubleshooting of test equipment, circuit boards, cables, etc.\nDemonstrate ability to work independently and drive toward goals\nCollaborate with cross functional teams to deploy test solutions that meet technical and production test needs\nSupport Lead Test Development engineer in the design, integration, verification, and validation of production test solutions for RF modules, RF CCAs, antenna subassemblies as well as power supplies/computing subassemblies\nAnalyze data gathered and develop solutions or alternative methods of proceeding to optimize performance and increase efficiency of work\nFacilitate project tasks with the various functional organizations to ensure alignment with overall project objectives\nQualifications You Must Hav e\nTypically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics(STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience \nTypically requires minimum of 1 year experience with emphasis in Automation Test Equipment/Unit Under Test (ATE/UUT) Test Systems Engineering or equivalent Engineering experience\nRequires experience in both hardware and test software development, integration, verification, validation, and/or maintenance activities within production/manufacturing/product qualification environments\nThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required after day one.
