Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nJob Description:\nThe RRMIF Dock Technician is responsible for supporting the RRMIF Dock Lead and the manufacturing and logistics activities on the RRMIF docks based on input from the Operations, Production Control, and Logistics leadership teams. The successful candidate will report to Operations leadership and be accountable for the proper staging of material in support of factory priorities. Duties include working on a small team to complete tasks such as hardware pack and unpack activities, cycle counts, palletization, kitting, put-away, and material movement, as well as ensuring the timing of those activities aligns with the overall flow of the factory and dock.\nThe candidate must be capable and willing to work extended hours (when required) in a fast-paced deadline driven environment with strict requirements. The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated skills and experience with inventory management, packing and handling sensitive materials, and warehousing.\nThe RRMIF Dock Technician is responsible for, but not limited to the following:\nExecuting internal movement of material and equipment in support of the overall factory plan\nWorking on a small team of dock personnel to achieve team objectives\nWorking with support personnel to ensure inventory is properly accounted for and maintained both physically and systemically\nManaging stock levels of line flow material\nEnsuring compliance to all pertinent operating procedures, work instructions, and requirements\nWorking safely around explosive items and actively promoting a safe working environment\nAny other task as assigned in support of dock operations or the factory\nRequired Experience:\n4 years warehousing or manufacturing experience\nThe candidate must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance\nDesired Attributes:\nExperience working in a cross-functional team environment\nKnowledge of Quality practices on a manufacturing floor\nExperience in manufacturing line balancing\nExperience maintaining inventory in a factory environment\nKnowledge of existing RTX execution systems (PRISM, SAP, EMR)\nAbility to develop solutions to problems of medium scope and complexity\nUnderstanding of sequencing for fabrication, assembly, installation, testing and other manufacturing operations relation to specific portion of the product\nExcellent interpersonal and teaming skills\nExperience with automation systems\nRequired Education:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent (GED)\nThis position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance.
