The candidate will be a primary SATCOM Engineer supporting the C2BMC Program in Shariki, Japan.\nYour primary responsibilities will be to provide technical services support in Shariki, Japan; responsible for operating, maintaining, monitoring, troubleshooting, and repair of Satellite Terminal systems, including connectivity to local and wide area networks, end-to end telecommunications, circuit switching systems.\nWhat You Will Do:\nTakes corrective actions to ensure the most efficient operations of the SATCOM equipment and monitor status and performance of Transmission/Receive systems.\nQuickly respond to circuit outages and coordinates with distant end facilities and local Systems/Users, when necessary, in order to restore communications services.\nAnalyze capabilities and performance.\nIdentifies problems.\nPerforms other duties and assignments as required.\nPosition may require 24x7 shift work. Candidate will be assigned to a shift, to be determined by mission requirements.\nWhat You Will Learn:\nKnowledge of Network System Administration.\nExperience working with Microsoft operating system environments/platforms.\nFamiliarity with CISCO routers.\n\nQualifications You Must Have:\nExcellent skills and background in SATCOM principles, operations, maintenance, and repair.\nSkilled in utilizing common SATCOM test equipment.\nFamiliarity with TACLANE encryption devices and Crypto Device Loaders such as SKLs.\nExperience in signal flow and end-to-end configuration diagrams for circuits.\nKnowledge of Network System Administration.\nExperience working with Microsoft operating system environments/platforms.\nFamiliarity with CISCO routers.\nMust possess a DoD 8140 certification at IA Level II or higher (Security+ CE, Security. CCNA Security, CySA+ **, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CISSP).
