Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nKey Roles & Responsibilities\nOversee the processing of invoices and verification of transactions to ensure accuracy and timely payments to vendors and suppliers.\nManage the accounts payable team, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies.\nImplement and maintain internal controls and procedures to prevent errors and fraud in the accounts payable process.\nReconcile accounts payable transactions with general ledger balances, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues to ensure accuracy in financial statements.\nEnsuring timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers, maintaining accurate records and control reports\nPrepare and analyze accounts payable reports and metrics to assess performance and identify areas for improvement in the payment process.\nManaging monthly closing of financial records and posting of month-end information, ensuring accuracy of financial statements\nReviewing and reconciling supplier statements, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner\nCoordinate with procurement and receiving departments to ensure that purchase orders, receipts, and invoices are matched accurately and resolved discrepancies.\nHandle complex vendor inquiries and disputes, including resolving billing errors and negotiating adjustments or refunds to ensure fair and accurate transactions.\nOversee key financial activities, including month-end close, tax filings, and payment processing.\nWork to identify areas for process improvements and enhance operational efficiency.\nAssist with financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.\nBuild strong working relationships within the team and with internal stakeholders.\nEnsure adherence to deadlines and provide guidance on key financial processes.\nContribute to the development of a high-performing, service-focused team.\nAssist with the management of systems used in accounts payable processes.\nProvide backup support to senior management and assist with special projects as needed.\nRequired Skills\nInvoice & Payment Oversight: Lead and manage the end-to-end invoice and payment processing, ensuring invoices are accurately matched with purchase orders and receipts. Ensure timely approval of payments as per approval policies.\nPayment Methods & Processing: Oversee and manage all payment methods, including electronic funds transfers (EFTs), checks, wires, and alternative methods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.\nVendor Management: Maintain strong relationships with vendors, resolve payment disputes, and ensure proper setup and maintenance of vendor records.\nMonth-End Close: Prepare and review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations as part of the month-end close process. Accrue expenses and investigate any discrepancies, ensuring accurate reporting.\nProcess Improvement & Systems Implementation: Lead the implementation of new systems and processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and the overall accounts payable workflow. Drive automation initiatives and ensure best practices are applied.\nCompliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to company policies, internal controls, and relevant regulations. Prepare and present reports on accounts payable activities, including aging reports and cash flow forecasts.\nAudit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by providing required documentation and responding to audit inquiries.\nExperience\n5-7 years of experience in Finance Operations, with a strong focus on Accounts Payable, Invoice Processing, Indexing, Payment Disbursements, Month End Close, Reconciliations, Vendor Management, etc.\n· Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.\nGood knowledge of SAP, Oracle, MS Office ( Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook )\nRequired Education\nB.com/M.com/MBA-finance from a reputed college / university.\nPlease ensure the role type defined below is appropriate for your needs before applying to this role. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.\nRequires theoretical to advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through University Degree combined with experience.
