Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nWhat You Will Do:\nTake ownership of certain aspects of the procurement process, from purchase order creation for material return to vendors to managing purchase order deliveries. You will join the Buyer Support Group and be a member of either the Return to Vendor Team or the Delivery Assurance Team supporting Acquisition Professionals and Raytheon Programs. This will allow you to have end-to-end visibility of the Supply Chain process from Acquisitions to Receiving to Close-out.\nPrepare and issue Requests for Return Material Authorization (RMA) numbers.\nCreate and manage Return to Vendor purchase orders, ensuring compliance with contractual and quality terms and conditions.\nProactively monitor and manage purchase orders to ensure timely delivery, addressing any potential delays, service issues, or financial impacts.\nMaintain accurate electronic records, generate weekly reports to track progress, and monitor metrics.\nProvide input for the development and improvement of procurement strategies, department procedures, and supply chain processes.\nReconcile purchase and delivery discrepancies, ensuring compliance with subcontract/contract, purchasing policies, goals, and objectives.\nActively participate in department and operational meetings, coordinate and communicate vendor issues and support reporting activities to demonstrate compliance.\nDrive and maintain strong data discipline in the SCM MRP/ERP and Pelico environment.\nCreate and maintain positive and ethical customer, acquisition professional, and vendor relationships.\nFollow workplace operating, environmental health and safety procedures and guidelines.\nQualifications You Must Have:\nTypically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced Degree in a related field.\nU.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required. https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62\nQualifications We Prefer:\nSAP experience\nDemonstrated knowledge/compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS)\nProven ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with internal customers.\nStrong understanding of the Supply Chain lifecycle and roles/responsibilities at different project stages,\nUnderstanding of the preparation of Return To Vendor purchase orders to include terms and conditions compliance.\nUnderstanding the delivery assurance follow-up process for promise delivery dates and future planning.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential.\nUnderstanding of purchasing concepts, negotiation tactics/techniques, and material management principles.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies effectively.\nExcellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.\nAbility to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and manage a high volume of work efficiently.\nTask and perform effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, changing environment.\nWhat We Offer\nOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
