Designed and manufactured in the UK, our products are exported globally to RTX customers in more than 45 countries.\n\nJob Title: Senior Analyst - Procurement P2\nLocation(s): Glenrothes or Harlow (If Harlow, requirement to travel to Glenrothes for a two-week period for training).\nHybrid: Hybrid working - 3 days a week on site\nSummary of Role:\nExecutes and manages routine and non-routine procurements at low values and complexity e.g. build to print drawings and COTS equipment and services. Identifies and manages commercial risk. Leads or supports Contract Management activity in respect of responses for Requests for Proposals. Negotiates Purchase Orders and changes. Interfaces internally and externally. Contributes to Business Area strategies.\nMain Duties (Leading and/or supporting):\nConsults with peers from other disciplines and businesses, as well as the Functional SLT.\nSources, negotiates, awards, and documents purchases for materials, services, and supplies.\nPerforms or supports cost and price analysis, develops negotiation strategies, and leads negotiations to create value-for-money outcomes for procuring goods and services.\nSupports early supplier identification and engagement for new business pursuits.\nSupports Supply Chain bid/proposal activities for strategic pursuits.\nUses source selection techniques (e.g., best value, Total Cost of Ownership), performs cost analyses, conducts negotiations, and identifies supplier risks.\nInterfaces with Integrated Product Teams to understand and identify technical and programme challenges that may impact suppliers.\nProvides risk and opportunity analysis for early capture, particularly regarding the introduction of new suppliers, to mitigate risks associated with early supplier decisions.\nEnsures that requirements (e.g., prime contract, quality notes, terms, and conditions) are effectively communicated to suppliers.\nManages supplier performance against cost, schedule, and quality requirements.\nInterfaces with internal and supplier cross-functional organisations.\nAssists in the development of bids and agreements.\nExecutes to customer requirements, including government regulations, public law, and Raytheon policies and procedures.\nActively promotes the contributions of the function in achieving corporate objectives across the organisation, with stakeholders and within the supply chain.\nContinually assesses and promotes sustainable and responsible procurement, including social, cultural, and diversity values within the organisation and throughout the supply chain.\nFacilitates relationships between programme office/functional organisations and suppliers.\nUses project management skills and techniques when managing suppliers.\nInitiates and participates in supplier assessments and development activities.\nParticipates in supplier and internal reviews, including Gates, MRBs, and EACs, as required.\nProduces support data or business cases/briefing materials for management reviews.\nParticipates in or leads supplier assessments and supplier development activity teams, including the administration of appropriate due diligence activity.\nMaintains supplier scorecards, tracking performance metrics and driving continuous improvement.\nManages the full purchase-to-pay (P2P) cycle, ensuring timely and compliant processing of orders from requisition through to payment.\nIssues Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and ensures pricing remains competitive through market analysis and supplier engagement.\nCandidate Requirements:\nEssential:\nExperience in Supply Chain, Subcontract Management, Procurement, Commodity, and/or related field\nFlexible and positive attitude\nAble to perform effectively in a multi-functional team.\nExcellent verbal and written communications\nExperience in or exposure to negotiating Low complexity non-standard agreements.\nExperience of problem solving and dispute resolution\nExperience or knowledge of MRP, SAP and purchase order placement/ material receipt processes\nAdministration of delivery/acceptance/invoicing of goods and services\nDesirable:\nExperience as Control Account Manager\nExperience in proposal and programme governance activities\nExperience of developing and managing Supplier Relationship Management and collaborative working\nRelated degree//MCIPS/BA/MBA or equivalent\nExperience of programme management skills (IPDS/Risk Management/Programme Gating/ Metrics/SOW Development/Business Finance)\nKnowledge of import/export legislation and logistical requirements\nExperience of collaborating with international suppliers/programmes\nProcess improvement skillset.\n#LI-MF1\nRTX adheres to the principles of equal employment.
