The Airborne Multi-Mission Integration and Test division within the Space and Airborne Systems Engineering and Test Capability (SE&TC) Center is seeking a Senior Data Analyst Systems Engineer with experience in tools development and data analysis supporting the Advanced Airborne Sensor (AAS) program to join our team.
As a Senior Data Analyst Systems Engineer, you play a critical role in the development, integration, test, and analysis of software systems. You will ensure the products meet the customers’ requirements from initial development through deployment and post-deployment support. This dynamic and fast paced role offers the opportunity to collaborate across disciplines, solve complex challenges, and contribute to cutting-edge aerospace and defense technologies. This is an Onsite role in Dallas, Texas.
What You Will Do:
- Develop software tools to collect and disseminate mission products from local and customer operations.
- Transform written tasks into code, perform software root cause analysis, and apply analytical and critical problem-solving skills to address complex challenges.
- Collaborate with experts to resolve difficult problems beyond your current knowledge base and coordinate cross-functionally with customers and other vendors to ensure successful outcomes.
- Collaborate with software teams developing tools for local operations software testing and analysis in the development of customer software.
- Coordinate troubleshooting efforts from system data results for local testing and all customer systems around the world.
- Perform mission processing data analysis and dissemination for multiple government and partner contract company analysts.
- Support testing, validation, and integration activities.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 5 years supporting AAS software, system development, integration, or testing.
- Experience utilizing SELinux utilization
- BASH scripting skills, including the ability to write and debug scripts
- JAVA, CSS, HTML, webpage development
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer
- Advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM preferred)
- Experience with .bat programing
- Python
- MATLAB
- Security +, C++,
- Scripting and tools development.
- Simulink, DOORS, DNG, Cameo, JIRA, and Confluence
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS as part of general webpage development

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
