We are looking for candidates to collaborate and coordinate with our manufacturing facility, Program Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to proactively and efficiently resolve issues that may arise during production, testing, and integration. In this role, you will foster a culture of trust, transparency, compliance, diversity, inclusion, and accountability. This position will reside within the Cabin Production Design Support section that supports the Advanced Airborne Sensor (AAS) program\nWhat You Will Do:\nPerform technical evaluations of hardware with the ability to categorize failures and systematically disposition failing hardware in a timely manner\nPrioritize and execute improvement opportunities, including root cause and corrective action investigations\nCommunicate to program leadership status updates of hardware failures, products at supplier for repair, status of supplier repairs, and estimated completion dates and shipments\nWork across functions (Supply Chain, Operations, Production Control) to coordinate and ensure timely delivery/receipt of hardware for supplier rework/repair\nMain technical point of contact for key suppliers for production program and identify capability gaps and recommend corrective actions\nSupport quarterly program performance reviews with key suppliers\nAbility to travel periodically to manufacturing facilities, vendors, or customer sites to support production (up to 25%).\nWhat You Will Learn:\nConducting failure investigations and providing recommendations to address systemic issues and to prevent recurrence\nFault isolation / troubleshooting at the system to WRA/LRU/Sub-system level\nLeadership skills for small, cross functional teams\nTechnical knowledge of key radar processing items\nLead and participate in Production Readiness Reviews (PRRs) during technical baseline transitions from Development to Full-Rate Production (FRP)\nQualifications You Must Have:\nTypically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)\nA minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in a role such as production support engineer, test engineer, supplier quality engineer, electrical engineer, and/or network engineer\nExperience with analyzing technical data and/or schematic drawings to support effective troubleshooting efforts. \nExperience with external vendors, such as communicating requirements, monitoring performance, and/or coordinating deliverables to support project execution.\nThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required within 1 year of employment.
