Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.\nRaytheon is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer- Test Automation with a proven track record in the design, development, and integration of System Test Equipment (STE) for complex RF and Microwave products, including associated test software.\nWhat You Will Do:\nSupport Hardware and Software design and equipment selections, develop Special Test Equipment (including validation & certification), conduct testing and integration, and see the product development through production & post-production technical support phases\nCreate and present technical data packages for program management during regularly scheduled meetings as well as various design reviews\nTest high frequency circuits ranging from baseband to millimeter wave\nThis role requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, production-driven environment. Travel to vendor and subcontractor locations will be required on occasion.\nQualifications You Must Have:\nTypically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in the design, development, and integration of STE for complex electrical products, including test software development.\nExperience with software tools such as C, C++, Visual C, MATLAB, LabVIEW, Python, LabWindows/CVI, NI TestStand, or comparable platforms.\nExperience with RF Test equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, scalar analyzers, signal generators, noise-figure meters, Data Acquisition Systems (DAQ), oscilloscopes, and/or power meters.\nThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance post-start is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.\nQualifications We Prefer:\nExperience in the design, testing, troubleshooting, and failure analysis of Microwave Integrated Circuits (MICs), Integrated Microwave Assemblies (IMAs), Radio Frequency Assemblies (RFAs), and/or RF Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) across L-Band to Ku-Band frequencies.\nFamiliarity with version control software such as Git\nAbility to interpret customer requirements and translate them into test specifications.\nAbility to analyze and troubleshoot test equipment efficiently and accurately.\nExperience in testing, troubleshooting, and failure analysis of RF/Microwave components, circuits, and products such as LNAs, Power Amplifiers, Phase-Locked-Loops (PLLs), Mixers, and/or Filters\nWhat We Offer:\nOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
