Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.\nThe Senior Engineer - Capital Coordinator is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and execution of capital projects that support the McKinney Antenna Range infrastructure and capabilities. This role partners closely with engineering, operations, facilities, finance, and program teams to develop capital strategies, manage budgets, and ensure timely and compliant project execution. The position plays a key role in sustaining and enhancing antenna test range capabilities critical to business needs.\nThis is an onsite role, located in Mckinney, Texas.\nWhat You Will Do:\nLead planning and execution of capital projects, including equipment upgrades, infrastructure improvements, and capability expansions.\nDevelop and manage capital budgets, forecasts, business cases, and project documentation.\nCoordinate cross-functional engineering, operations, facilities, finance, supply chain, and safety stakeholders.\nDrive project execution to meet scope, schedule, cost, and compliance requirements.\nConduct technical evaluations and support procurement activities for capital equipment and services.\nManage vendor engagements and oversee contract deliverables.\nDevelop and maintain configuration control, documentation, and change management processes for antenna range assets.\nIdentify long-term capital needs and support strategic planning and capability roadmaps.\nProvide regular status reports, risk assessments, and mitigation plans to leadership.\nQualifications You Must Have:\nTypically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) degree and a minimum of 5 years’ prior relevant experience, to include any combination of the following:\nEngineering experience supporting technical projects or complex test/lab environments.\nExperience with project management, budget management, and technical procurement.\nExperience with interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.\nExperience with engineering documentation, configuration control, and change management processes.\nQualifications We Prefer:\nMaster’s degree in Engineering or related field.\nExperience with RF test ranges, antenna systems, or test infrastructure.\nPrior experience with capital planning, project engineering, or facilities-related engineering.\nFamiliarity with EVMS principles, capital accounting, and business case development.\nExperience in vendor management and contract oversight.\nDemonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver projects on schedule and budget\nExperience in defense, aerospace, or government-regulated environments.\nWhat We Offer\nOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
