Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.\nThe Electronic Warfare and Airborne Sensors department within the Space and Air Sensors organization has an immediate opening for a Senior Engineer - Electronic Warfare Systems to support the design, development, and testing of cutting-edge Electronic Warfare (EW) technology and sensor systems for a suite of products across multiple programs.\nThis position supports a variety of activities including but not limited to concept development, requirements management, and design oversight for RF systems, production support, failure analysis, supplier engagement, test planning and implementation, and/or system integration, verification, and validation (IV&V). This is an ONSITE Position in Fort Wayne, Indiana.\nWhat You Will Do:\nSystem Development: Understand the customer’s functional/operational needs and participate in requirements decomposition, overseeing proper allocation of technical elements\nSystem Integration & Test: Support system integration, test, design verification, fault identification, failure resolution, and/or acceptance of production hardware\nProvide engineering support to lab test and qualification activities, providing engineering oversight to the test, evaluation, and analysis of issues pertaining to system hardware and firmware functionality and performance\nProvide support for situations including (but not limited to) customer inquiries, field failures, product obsolescence, system enhancements, new product development, integration, and transition to production.\nEvaluate and assess the performance of developmental electronic warfare systems, including signal processing subsystems\nMay be called upon to support bid and proposal efforts by providing labor estimations and/or material cost estimations\nAble to balance multiple, varying commitments, exercising discretion and with moderately low direct oversight\nQualifications You Must Have:\nTypically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline (preferably Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Physics) and 5 years of prior relevant systems engineering, RF system design, digital and/or analog signal processing, waveform and signal modulation analysis, and/or algorithm implementation and testing experience\nExperience producing and presenting system design information and/or system test results to internal or external customers, demonstrated through past roles, deliverables, or project responsibilities\nWillingness to complete occasional business travel, up to 20%\nThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance\nQualifications We Prefer:\nExperience with development, implementation, and test of RF jamming algorithms\nMATLAB, PathWave ADS, and/or PathWave EMPro for simulation and design of RF systems\nC/C++ or Python programing languages\nRF receiver/exciter product design, development, and/or test experience in the Electronic Attack (i.e., signals jamming) sub-domain of EW.\nUnderstanding of embedded systems and embedded programming.
