In this role you will join our Centralized Field Engineering (CFE) organization providing operational support for the United States Air Force worldwide deployable program.\nThis unaccompanied role is mission essential and will be onsite in an undisclosed location in the United Kingdom for an international assignment with additional compensation.\nAbility to deploy anywhere in the world at a moment’s notice.\nEmployment is contingent upon meeting all medical requirements for overseas assignments including comprehensive post-offer medical examination.\nThe position is also contingent upon the customer determining a follow-on location (non-UK).\nWhat You Will Do\nPerform product implementation, modifications, and enhancements to product in accordance with specific customer specifications and implementations.\nFocused on team-oriented tasks while supporting the customer’s mission and initiatives.\nEnsure training requirements (customer and company) are kept up to date and completed ahead of schedule.\nMonitor, analyze and characterize the performance of complex data processing systems.\nTrace isolated faults and distinguish between hardware and software fault sources.\nRecommend, initiate, and oversee actions to correct faults.\nMaintain sensor equipment on aircraft.\nProvide support on the U.S. Air Force flight-line to operate and conduct pre-mission activities.\nProvide support for aircraft checkout prior to flights.\nIntegrate and updated software and hardware.\nWork with a global team of users, analysts, and other contractor personnel, and customers.\nSpecial Work Conditions\nWorking rotating shifts is required.\nTravel and long working hours are anticipated.\nMust be able to lift 40 pounds overhead and able to sit for long periods of time.\nMust be willing and able to get all inoculations required by the US military.\nMust be able and ready to deploy anywhere in the world at a moment’s notice.\nMust be willing and able to deploy to environments that may include harsh living conditions (extreme heat and cold, deployed living conditions, etc.).\nQualifications You Must Have\nTypically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 5+ years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3+ years’ experience.\nExperience with military, data processing, system administration, radar, IR, or radio frequency.\nExperience and expertise in sensor payload maintenance.\nExperience with U.S. Air Force Flight line courtesies and regulations.\nExperience using UNIX.\nComprehensive knowledge of Solaris and RADAR theory.\nActive and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. \nU.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.\nPreferred Qualifications\nAdditional years of experience or a combination of experience, education, and training / military will be considered in lieu of degree.\nExperience / knowledge using military equipment accounts and Integrated Maintenance Data Systems (IMDS).\nExperience working with SAR imagery.\nExperience reading electrical wiring schematics and diagrams for system troubleshooting.\nExperience performing electrical wiring and cannon plug repairs.\nExperience using soldering station.\nExperience using digital fiber optic scope and power meters to perform fiber optic inspection / maintenance.\nExperience using digital oscilloscope, signal generators and multi meters.\nExperience maintaining shop programs as directed by AFI policy with minimal supervision.\nEffective oral and written communication abilities.\nExcellent teamwork skills interacting productively with end users, analysts, other internal personnel, and customers in a global team setting.\nContingent Pending Follow-on Location (non-UK)\nLearn More & Apply Now!\nOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
