Make a difference with a career at Pratt & Whitney.\nWhat You Will Do\nIdentify areas for improvement and ensure measurable implementation.\nHelp reduce standard hours and implement automation to lower parts costs.\nAnalyze and evaluate existing systems and processes, identifying value-added and non-value-added activities to solve design challenges.\nEvaluate and explore new and existing processes, equipment and materials as inputs to scheduling methods, performance metrics and financial standards.\nDevelop the overall continuous improvement strategy at the site level using CORE tools.\nAssist the General Manager in preparing activities for annual targets structured around the Policy Deployment methodology.\nDevelop and present Cost and Continuous Improvement strategies to Senior Management across various communication forums.\nPrepare the site for CORE Office assessments.\nServe as the site’s primary point of contact with the CORE Office.\nRepresent the site at the Singapore CORE Council.\nLead continuous improvement programmes and CORE activities within the company.\nManage and conduct employee training for productivity improvement projects, and mentor fellow engineers and technicians.\nCoordinate and administer internal and external technical training programmes to ensure compliance with FAR 145.163 and other applicable airworthiness authority requirements.\nSupport and participate in the company’s EH&S programmes and activities.\nReport all incidents, including injuries, illnesses, near misses and spills, as well as hazardous conditions and emergencies, to the supervisor.\nHelp build a strong continuous improvement culture.\nQualifications You Must Have\nDegree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.\nMinimum three years of working experience managing cost-reduction programmes and continuous improvement activities, such as EH&S, Lean and Kaizen, within a manufacturing environment.\nStrong knowledge of CORE tools and techniques, with active participation in CORE activities.\nQualifications We Prefer\nGood computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills.\nStrong presentation capabilities.\nAbility to work effectively under pressure.\nIndependent and self-motivated working style.\nWhat We Offer\nCareer and skills development opportunities.\nEmployee scholarship program for further education.\nComprehensive health, medical and dental benefits.\nOn-the-job training and in-house/external certifications.\nCompetitive renumeration package.\nAllowance and overtime benefits where appliable.\nCompany transport provided.
