Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nThe Raytheon Operations & Supply Chain (OSC) organization is looking for a Senior Manager, Supply Chain Management (SCM) in support of the Advanced Programs portfolio located in McKinney, Texas. The candidate will assist in leading a team of Material Program Managers responsible for developing and executing supply chain strategies and plans for capture efforts & program execution within the portfolio. The position requires an individual who will be able to exert influence on overall objectives and long-range goals of the product line and their Program Management office. The ideal candidate will need to be a leader with project management skills and be directly accountable for ensuring overall execution of materials management, ensure program success to cost/schedule/quality, and partner with our internal acquisitions team to manage supplier performance in meeting program needs. Candidate must be a self-starter, capable of developing and achieving organizational and program objectives, and must be able to successfully interface with all levels of both internal management and external supplier management.\nThis position is an onsite role.\nWhat You Will Do:\nAssist in leading a team of MPMs responsible for the material strategy and overall sourcing activities for the major product groups and customers within and Advanced Programs portfolio.\nLead the planning, execution and reporting of material and labor budgets, sales, and contributing to monthly LRE and quarterly EAC inputs.\nDevelop and implement cost reduction initiatives for both recurring efforts and new business opportunities.\nSupport major products & program capture efforts by working closely with internal and external sources of supply, program management and other functional organizations to ensure supply chain is successful in the program’s affordability initiatives.\nCreates, manages, and executes MPS (Material Program Strategy and the MPP (Material Program Plan) to enable successful execution of program competitiveness and performance; from the front end of the business through contract closure.\nOwn the Material financial management for the portfolio (i.e., utilize EVMS, establish budgets, develop targets, drive material sales forecasts, provide inputs into EAC’s & the Long-Range Plan, etc.)\nCollaborate with other programs and OSC leads to maximize efficiency of program execution and incorporate best practices.\nOverall ownership of the supplier management process including supplier performance, SCM metrics (MRP Health, KA, LOB, etc.), forecasting, Make/Buy Where strategy, Supplier Risk/Opportunity Management Plan, Strategic Agreements, EXIM compliance, Small Business plan development and execution and communication of customer flow through requirements such as FAR/DFARS, ITAR, offset, public law, quality, warranty, etc.\nAccountable for supply chain cost, schedule, and quality.\nManage the coordination and execution of program schedules with Program Management, Operations, Subcontracts, Engineering, and other cross-functional areas to support on time delivery.\nDevelop and execute supply chain strategies and utilize CORE best practices.\nInterface with Customers to understand needs and issues and ensure that the customers receive satisfactory standards of service.\nQualifications You Must Have:\nTypically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience\nExperience in supply chain and related systems, procurement, MRP, receiving, cost estimating, and/or finance\nExperience with supplier management and/or subcontract management\nExperience in preparation for, and/ or support of negotiations with suppliers\nActive and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain higher clearance level or program access prior to start date.\nQualifications We Prefer:\nExperience working with Material Resource Planning (MRP) systems, including but not limited to SAP, Kinaxis, PRISM/CMES\nExperience in leading collaborative teams on tactical and strategic discussions to drive results and break down barriers\nExperience developing and executing competitive bids and proposals through collaboration with multiple manufacturing and functional teams\nExperience performing supplier assessments to mitigate risk, capture opportunity, manage qualified product delivery, and ensure the right resources are deployed on development and production programs\nExperience interfacing with all levels of internal management\nWhat We Offer\nOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
