Directs resolution of client issues or problems.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nManages execution of processes, standards, and operational plans in support of Procurement goals, including RFPs, negotiations, cost accountability, and / or program execution.\nResponds to critical client issues and problems.\nMonitors suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries to ensure resolution of problems such as shortages and missed or late deliveries.\nAuthorizes purchase orders, negotiates prices and approves payments to ensure the procurement process goes smoothly.\nShares accountability for the planning, development and execution of major supply chain initiatives and industrial procurements throughout the global organization consistent with the related prime contract, business plan or annual operating plan.\nManages the supply chain function of the organization. \nMaintains a strong emphasis on performance-based supplier relationships.\nPresents program status at program reviews and to senior leadership, communicating with all levels of the organization.\nLead the development of detailed project plans, host regular project reviews with supply chain teams and other stakeholders, including SBU executives.\nResponsible for collaborating in a cross-functional, highly matrixed environment in order to advance the multiple projects within their scope.\nResponsible for serving the team as a point of escalation, coach and mediator.\nMay manage moderately sized projects or processes.\nBasic Qualifications:\nThis position requires a Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and 8 years of relevant experience or an Advanced degree in the appropriate discipline and 5 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nData management skills and experience with Excel (V-lookups, Pivot tables, etc) and Power Point\nA general understanding of Aerospace drawings, specifications, and manufacturing processes\nPrior Leadership experience\nKnowledge of export/ITC regulations and policies is preferred as well over a basic knowledge of RTX work transfer standard work (COL 0008)\nTechnical degree and MBA degree\n15+ years’ experience in a program management or cost reduction or supply chain role or Mechanical manufacturing in the Aerospace Industry\nExperience with SAP\nCollins Aerospace, a Raytheon Technologies company, is a leader in technologically advanced and intelligent solutions for the global aerospace and defense industry.
