Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nWhat You Will Do *\nDefine and implement Snowflake architecture, data models, standards, and best practices aligned with enterprise technology strategy.\nLead data migration and modernization from legacy/on-premises platforms to Snowflake and cloud environments.\nDesign scalable data ingestion, integration, transformation, and data-sharing solutions using Snowflake and ETL/ELT technologies.\nEstablish data security, access controls, encryption, governance, and compliance standards.\nOptimize Snowflake environments for performance, scalability, availability, and cost efficiency.\nDesign and implement data warehouses, data lakes, and modern data platform architectures.\nProvide technical leadership for integrations with systems such as Workday, HR/Payroll platforms, enterprise applications, APIs, and cloud services.\nDevelop architecture patterns for batch and real-time data processing.\nCollaborate with developers, data engineers, business analysts, security teams, and enterprise architects to deliver enterprise data solutions.\nEstablish standards for data quality, metadata, lineage, monitoring, and lifecycle management.\nEvaluate new Snowflake capabilities and cloud technologies and recommend solutions that improve business value and operational efficiency.\nProvide technical guidance, code/design reviews, mentoring, and architectural oversight to development and data engineering teams.\nQualifications You Must Have *\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.\n12 -15+ years of experience in data warehousing, data engineering, and cloud data platforms.\n6 - 8+ years of hands-on experience designing Snowflake solutions.\nStrong expertise in data modeling, and dimensional modeling.\nExperience with ELT/ETL tools such as Matillion with strong knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure.\nExperience with Python, PL/SQL for data engineering and automation with knowledge of CI/CD, Github, DevOps.\nExperience implementing enterprise security and governance frameworks using Immuta.\nSkilled in data mapping, conversion, transformation, and integration activities to meet third-party vendor requirements, with experience integrating Snowflake with Workday, Globalview and ADP products.\nProven track record of contributing to large-scale project implementations, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.\nExperience with API-based and cloud-native integrations.\nQualifications We Prefer\nSnowflake certification such as SnowPro Advanced Architect or equivalent.\nPlease ensure the role type defined below is appropriate for your needs before applying to this role.
