This position is responsible for the incident management of customers within the CA Operational environment. This position is responsible for diagnosing failures of systems and networks and performing actions to resolve basic technical queries from Collins Aerospace CA customers and Business Units. Join our 24x7x365 Network Operations Center team, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our network infrastructure. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain systems to support high availability and seamless communication for our customers.\nThis is a 24x7x365 Operations Center which requires working some weekends and holidays.\nWhat You Will Do\nMonitor network management systems and engage telecom providers to facilitate timely issue resolution.\nTrack and update incident details in the incident management tool with accurate and timely information.\nTroubleshoot systems and network issues of limited to moderate complexity.\nApply technical knowledge to oversee high availability IP networks, messaging systems, and Air-to-Ground data communication systems.\nAddress routine technical queries from internal customers and business units.\nCollaborate with senior team members to resolve moderate to complex issues affecting critical customer services.\nMonitor and troubleshoot system performance, escalating issues as necessary.\nParticipate in network solutions design, deployment, configuration, and maintenance routines, improving processes where applicable.\nAnalyze system behavior and provide guidance to customers for resolving technical problems.\nQualifications You Must Have\nTypically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.\nCurrent or in-progress certification in CCNA or Security+.\nExperience in a customer service-oriented technical support environment.\nPrior work experience with TCP/IP networking protocols and computer hardware/software interconnection and interface standards.\nExperience troubleshooting Cisco equipment and working knowledge of routing protocols such as HSRP and BGP.\nExperience providing technical support in an aerospace environment.\nQualifications We Prefer\nExperience prioritizing multiple incidents and collaborating across teams.\nAbility to analyze and interpret complex system behavior.\nRole Type\n*Please ensure the role type (defined below) is appropriate for your needs before applying to this role.\nOnsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
