At our Kilkeel Facility, we manufacture aircraft interior seating for a number of worldwide customers.\nAs a leader in the aerospace industry, we have a number of exciting positions available right now, including aSenior Operations Supervisor.\nReporting to the Business Unit Manager, this is a full-time onsite role. The hours of work are 39 hours per week, 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday to Thursday and 8:00am - 1:00pm Friday. The post holder may be required at times to work outside his/her normal working hours for the effective performance of the duties of the post.\nIn addition, you may be required to work a different shift pattern than the one outlined in the key terms table dependent on business needs. Should you be required to work an alternative shift, we will provide you with the details of the shift pattern including start and finish times and will endeavour to provide as much notice as possible, with a minimum of two weeks’ notice wherever feasible.\nRole Overview:\nProvide leadership to a production team within a lean manufacturing environment where performance is measured against key performance metrics and quality standards and the focus is on driving a culture of continuous improvement.\nWhat you will do:\nProvide leadership and direction to a Production team.\nEnsure performance delivery against key targets/metrics and quality standards (deliver the Master Production Schedule and related KPI’s).\nDrive a culture of continuous improvement and cost reduction to maximise efficiency and effectiveness within a team.\nEffectively manage a team to increase line performance and development of individuals.\nDeveloping effective relationships within both the production and support departments to achieve organisational goals\nEnsure that all Health and Safety standards and requirements are met.\nEffectively communicate with internal stakeholders and manage change within a fast-paced production environment.\nThe person:\nCollaborates - building partnerships and working together with others for the greater good.\nCommunicates Effectively - developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.\nCourage - stepping up to address difficult issues, saying what needs to be said.\nCustomer Focus - building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.\nDevelops Talent - taking an active role in the growth of yourself and others to meet both career and organisational goals.\nDrives Results - consistently achieves results, even under tough circumstances and empowers others to do the same.\nInstils Trust - gaining the confidence of others through integrity, credibility, and authenticity.\nStrategic Vision - seeing ahead to future possibilities and translating them into breakthrough strategies.\nWhat you will learn:\nYou’ll have the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally through our Employee Scholarship Programme.
