Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nSoftware Department team in Atlanta, GA is seeking a highly motivated, experienced Senior Principal Embedded Software Engineer to be part of their team supporting Electronic Warfare (EW) programs. \n What You Will Do:\nParticipate in collaborative, cross-disciplined integrated product teams, often employing agile system and software development operations to plan, specify, design, test, and integrate complex software and systems solutions.\nResponsibilities include innovating creative implementations of new products and technologies, from architecture and design, through integration, lab test and field test.\nCollaborating effectively with other disciplines and senior technical staff, in addition to producing planning and technical work products for internal customers to form original solutions to complex problems.\nDeveloping software requirements derived from system level requirements, developing associated architectures, performing simulations and analysis and testing of the software in a laboratory setting.\nWork in an advanced product development team environment with systems, firmware, electrical and software engineers.\nHandle fast pace and dynamic product development environment including engagement with Systems and Electrical Engineers\nThis position may require occasional business-related travel. \n\nQualifications You Must Have:\nTypically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.\nExperience in software design, integration and test utilizing C / C++.\nExperience with embedded microprocessor design, system on a chip software design, FPGAs, high-speed transceivers, DDR, flash memories, block diagrams, signal analyses and signal generation.\nExperience in all software lifecycle phases: software architecture, system/software requirements analysis, design, implementation, verification testing, system integration, and post-delivery maintenance.\nThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
