Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nPratt & Whitney is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support the Operational Commercial Engines Component Integrated Product Team (CIPT) within the Mechanical Systems, Externals, & Nacelles (MSEN) organization. In this role, you will coordinate engineering, operations, supply chain, finance, and program management activities while managing technical risks, engineering changes, schedules, budgets, and program commitments throughout the product lifecycle. The position provides support for both Externals and Mechanical Systems hardware, and will require strong cross-functional leadership and technical problem-solving skills.\nWhat You Will Do:\nAccountable to CIPT for task-level ownership, including communication, risk management, and execution to program requirements.\nCollaborate closely with the Integrated Product Team on hardware field investigations to determine root cause, support safety risk assessments, and develop mitigation plans.\nLead engineering change execution, risk assessments, and mitigation planning to reduce cost, schedule, and technical exposure across the project lifecycle.\nParticipate in Customer, System Integrated Product Team (SIPT), Integrated Program Management Team (IPMT), and Senior Management interactions and presentations.\nMonitor and support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) budget, schedule, technical performance, and business metrics to achieve program commitments.\nTravel Requirement: Up to 10%, Domestic and International.\nWhat You Will Learn:\nExperience leading Class I Engineering Changes and PCIR process execution within a Component Integrated Product Team.\nBuild cross-functional leadership skills through collaboration with engineering, operations, customer support, supply chain, finance, and program management teams\nExpand technical and project leadership capabilities within a global aerospace organization.\nGain exposure to executive-level program reviews and strategic business decision-making.\nQualifications You Must Have:\nBachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced degree and 3 years of relevant experience.
