Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nWhat you will do:\nInterface with the program quality teams, programs, customers, and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), supporting technical quality and financial performance, and compliance to Raytheon procedures and contractual requirements for the ROTHR Texas Radar System.\nResponsible for quality of services to our customers, stakeholders of quality risks, uncertainties and opportunities, key team members in resolution of customer expectations and relationships related to Mission Assurance and Quality at the sites in Texas.\nLead and perform root cause analysis, facilitate corrective actions, and implement closed loop process controls to improve product/process predictability and capability at the site.\nServe as a program quality liaison between the customer organizations and relevant stakeholders as first responder for quality issues and concerns related to development and production products with the Site Manager and customer.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams and partner with program leadership teams to define and implement quality improvement strategies.\nEnsure all hardware is appropriately documented in the equipment history records and align to quality and customer requirements per the program quality plan.\nSupport AS9100 Internal, Corporate, and Certification Audits by performing inspections of all current policies, procedures, and documentation to assure compliance with the contract and all applicable laws and regulations.\nRecognize, evaluate, and control hazardous workplace conditions at the site.\nTake proactive steps to ensure the safety and health of site employees and influence safe behaviors.\nWork with subject matter experts to ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, local and company EHS requirements.\nQualifications you must have:\nBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and 5 years of relevant experience in Quality Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering or other related technical field. In lieu of a degree, 8 years of relevant experience is required.\nExperience to include electronics, review and translate schematics, work instructions, safety regulations, and other technical documentation.\nPrevious experience within Quality Assurance to include root cause analysis and corrective action.\nExperience with principles, practices, and methods of safety, occupational health, and loss prevention programs.\nU.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.\n Qualification we prefer:\nTwo (2) years of experience in hazardous waste, environmental cleanup, or chemical handling operations.\nQuality and/or Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) experience.\nCertified or able to obtain OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations (24 or 40 hr. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
