Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nWhat You Will Do:\nManage and supervise HSMC-South Advanced Coatings maintenance operations. \nWill be responsible for assisting with budget creation and tracking expenses for the leadership team to review.\nApplies specialized knowledge and skills in maintenance engineering. \nResponsible for implementing inspection and maintenance processes to ensure optimal performance condition of sophisticated machinery and processing equipment. \nInvolves introduction and application of new developments and repair techniques in maintenance engineering. \nDevelop processes to repair, adjust, and maintain production equipment, machinery, or instruments to ensure that it functions reliably and complies with process specifications. \nRespond to emergencies, breakdowns, malfunctions, and other operating problems to minimize disruptions to manufacturing processes. \nImplement an established maintenance program and maintain detailed maintenance records so that recurring problems with machinery, equipment, or parts can be identified and addressed.\nCreate procedures to set, calibrate, or adjust equipment, machinery, and instruments so that it complies with production specifications or instructions. \nMaintain tools and repair equipment in good working order.\nReliability Engineer will assist with troubleshooting and repairing all machinery to ensure it works properly and complies with established safety protocols and processes for collective bargaining employees to use. \nAdditionally, the reliability engineer will collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and Operations Leadership teams for the approval of all installation and repair activities completed. Reports to Advanced Coatings Business Unit Leader.\nTrain and assist employees in the maintenance of advanced coating equipment.\nNegotiate contracts with outside vendors for execution of maintenance work.\nEnsure operational efficiency of electrical equipment and mechanical systems through timely inspection and repair.\nEnsure that company premises and facilities are kept in clean and hygienic condition.\nComply with workplace safety policies and standards.\nImplement electronic maintenance record systems to capture, record and predict all maintenance. \nEnsure all maintenance is completed on schedule\nReduce unplanned downtime\nIncrease operating equipment efficiently (OEE) to meet industry standards.\nQualifications You Must Have:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, administration or facility management\nMinimum experience of 10 years in a supervisory role and in machine maintenance\nOr An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of related experience \nWorking knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems\nFamiliarity in drafting and understanding blueprints and schematics\nEffective communication and people management skills\nComfortable working in a fast-paced environment\nPlease ensure the role type defined below is appropriate for your needs before applying to this role. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
