This position is located onsite at our Sterling, VA site.\nWhat You Will Do:\nDevelop and implement software solutions using programming languages such as C/C++, C#, Python, Java, and Lua.\nDesign and maintain aerospace modeling and simulation systems to support complex engineering projects.\nLead system design and integration efforts, ensuring seamless functionality across hardware and software components.\nUtilize tools such as Visual Studio Studio/Code, VMWare, Wireshark, Ansible, Docker/Podman, Packer, Terraform, GitLab, and Kubernetes for software development and deployment.\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive project execution, resolve technical challenges, and achieve program milestones.\nCreate and manage YAML-based configurations for automation and deployment processes.\nProvide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.\nEnsure compliance with security and regulatory requirements throughout the software development lifecycle.\nSupport and develop automation solutions that enable our teams to build and deploy code efficiently and consistently.\nSupport and develop the program’s CI/CD pipeline, optimizing code integration and delivery of the simulation environment.\nUse troubleshooting skills to resolve issues with software solutions, build chain or CI/CD pipeline tools.\nQualifications You Must Have:\nTypically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience\nMust have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.
