The Senior Supervisor, Disk Machining will manage cell productivity and guide scheduling, sequencing of work, and production innovation to optimize production.\nMeet business metrics goals as defined for each cell (Cost, Quality, Delivery, Environmental Health and Safety, CORE [Customer Oriented Results and Excellence], Employee Fulfillment)\nEnsures all quality related items for multiple cells or a complex cell are complete and documented to meet established quality standards\nImplement root cause corrective actions in a timely manner to ensure quality standards are maintained Implement CORE and Lean Strategies to improve Quality, reduce process time and reduce operational costs Ensure that all employees adhere to Environmental, Health and Safety procedures\nSupervises activities for materials and logistics problem resolution for multiple cells or a complex cell to ensure availability of materials and smooth operations\nManages cell performance and productivity for multiple cells or a complex cell to maximize productivity; identify and resolve process improvement opportunities to enhance quality, decrease process cycle time and reduce operational costs\nInterfaces with customers to understand customer needs and issues and ensure that the customers receive satisfactory standards of service\nCoach employees in team development and motivational strategies\nDemonstrates commitment to the EH&S program by complying with all policies and procedures, completing all required training, and supporting all applicable committee activities\nDefine and Implement plans to support the objectives of the business including Quality, CORE, Employee Fulfillment, and Financial Metrics\nQualifications You Must Have:\nBachelor's Degree with 5 or more years of experience in an engineering, machining, manufacturing operations, quality or closely related field OR an Associate's degree and 7 or more years of experience in an engineering, machining, manufacturing operations, quality or closely related field\nIn absence of a degree, High School Diploma/GED with 9 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, machining, quality or closely related field\nExperience in MS Office applications, specifically MS PowerPoint and Excel\nQualifications We Prefer:\nBachelor's degree in a STEM field\nMachining experience\nPlease ensure the role type defined below is appropriate for your needs before applying to this role. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
