You will focus on the design, development integration, testing, and acceptance of new and existing training and simulation technologies. This position will be located at our offices in either Calgary, Alberta or Ottawa, Ontario.\nResponsibilities:\nManage system requirements for developmental systems involving multiple subcontractors.\nGenerate and manage systems engineering documentation, including specifications, Interface Control Documents, test requirements, and test plans.\nConduct trade studies and recommend new technologies to advance capabilities.\nPerform job analysis to estimate engineering effort for specific tasks and projects.\nSupport financial Earned Value (EV) accountability to meet approved Estimates at Completion (EAC) in collaboration with Engineering Cost Account Managers.\nEnsure compliance with technical processes and policies, including Engineering Bid Reviews (EBRs) and Engineering Program Reviews (EPRs).\nReview program metrics, applying Technical Performance Measures (TPMs) to assess technical progress and risk.\nIdentify and manage technical/engineering Risks and Opportunities (R&Os) across programs, leveraging company enterprise capabilities.\nSupport engineering management of suppliers, including development of Statements of Work (SOWs), requirements specifications, and process compliance.\nProvide accurate and timely status reports to management.\nEnsure engineering tasks are performed in accordance with company policies and procedures.\nSupport business development efforts for new system integration projects.\nCollaborate on technical investigations, integration development, and program review meetings to meet customer requirements.\nSupport other engineering staff with systems engineering-related technical issues and the growth of the division through development initiatives.\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Systems Design Engineering, or a related field.\nMust be eligible for professional registration (Professional Engineer) under the provincial Association of Professional Engineers in the province of practice.\n8+ years of experience in systems engineering, integration, or development environments.\nStrong project engineering management skills which will include forecasting, budgeting and the ability to meet various objectives set out in a variety of plans\nStrong organizational and communication skills, particularly in digitally driven, complex systems designs across multidisciplinary teams.\nExperience with business capture as both a product provider and system integrator.\nProficiency in System Engineering and ILS, Digital Technologies Implementation, and Life Cycle Management.\nStrong computer skills in the Microsoft suite of programs and various other computer programs\nFamiliarity with one or more of the following:\nTraining Management Systems for simulated environments.\nMobile, local, and wide-area network architectures and deployments.\nCommand and Control (C2) and Situational Awareness (SA) applications and architectures.\nModeling and Simulation applications and architectures for large-scale training.\nRequirements management using DOORS.\nModel-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).\nStrong project engineering management skills which will include forecasting, budgeting and the ability to meet various objectives set out in a variety of plans\nWell-developed leadership skills including the ability to mentor others and think outside the box to sustain and grow the business.\nStrong computer skills in the Microsoft suite of programs and various other computer programs\nBilingual in English and French is an asset.\nAble to travel to Internationally\nThe successful candidate will be required to complete a criminal background check and obtain/maintain a Government of Canada security clearance and any applicable clearances with respect to the handling and transfer of controlled goods.\nThis position is eligible for consideration of a hybrid work arrangement with set onsite days.\nRaytheon Canada adheres to the principles of equal employment and welcome applications from all qualified persons.
